Muscle gain testimonials
“You have cellulite and droopy boobs”, no words a woman ever wants to hear from her husband’s mouth (now ex)! I was determined to fix both. One with the help of an amazing body contouring medical practitioner (AKA: boob doctor) and the second by exercising and eating right. No more yo yo diets; I needed to change my lifestyle. I thought I knew how to be healthy, I thought exercising 30 minutes 5 times a week on my elliptical- while watching TV ( how lazy was I?) was good enough. I ate like a bird and even missed meals. Everyone thought I was so dedicated to my “diet”, but I was killing myself from the inside out. Because I starved myself and was not getting the proper nutrition my body craved, I forced my body to go into survival mode which basically means, it stored all my fat and ate my muscle (what the hec is that all about?). I met with a health coach at a local wellness center and learned my body is like a car. In order for your car to go, it needs gas. In order for your body to go, it needs the proper nutrition. I became a health coach myself so that 1). I could stay focused with the support from other coaches 2.) To learn how to live a healthy lifestyle 3). To help others become healthy. It took me about 6 months to reduce my body fat from 37% to 16%, I lost 10lbs of fat and gained 5lbs of muscle. Although the calendar tells me I am almost 39 years old, my metabolic age (how old my body thinks I am) is 22. My energy has increased significantly and I look and feel the best I have ever felt in my life. I HAVE changed my lifestyle to be healthy and I can help you do the same. -Karen
Weight loss testimonials
“About a year ago at our annual company insurance signup, we changed our life insurance plans. We get the normal life insurance policy, but I needed more just in case something did happen. I got the forms, filled in my information, and sent them off to the insurance company. About a week later I got back the most disturbing rejection letter. ‘Denied, the information you provided leads us to conclude you are obese. Obesity leads to several health risk and you do not meet our requirements at this time.’ Obese, me? I thought… You see I filled out the forms and stated my height and weight, 6’1” at 288 lbs., I fudged my numbers as I was actually 315 lbs. I assume they use the BMI chart and automatically rejected my application. I needed to lose weight fast.
That did it; I had enough of being overweight. Constant heart burn and no energy made life miserable. I always justified that I was ‘big boned’, so I asked around the office and looked for advice. I found a local wellness club and that’s when I started working with my wellness coach. Making a custom plan and setting goals. Drinking my 2 healthy meal replacement shakes a day. The pounds just fell off… It was AMAZING! I weigh 221 pounds and still going. Total weight loss of 91 pounds and I feel great!” Thank you to my coach, Karen, for helping me to get back to my college days weight. BTW – I am 40 and look and feel better than I have felt in 20 years. I also joined her team and together we are spreading the word about healthy nutrition.” -Mike
